Ameristand 403T
Ameristand 403T has unique plant types that are a decade ahead of all other varieties for yield under wheel traffic. Over a decade ago we developed an exclusive selection process that helped us discover these unique genetics. After a decade of research, using our Real World™ selection process, we discovered plant types with:

  • Larger deep-seated crowns with finer stems, greater leaf mass and more crown bud activity.
  • 30% larger roots that store more energy, promoting better yield and stress recovery.
  • Advanced seeding resistance to get stands off to a strong start.
  • Exclusive high resistance to Phoma Crown Rot, the "Traffic Disease" only available in AmeriStand 403T.
  • Higher resistance to all major alfalfa diseases. Resists Aphanomyces Races 1 & 2.

GSF810
• High yielding and long-standing (4-5 year) with top winter hardiness. • Exceptional disease and pest resistance for both irrigated and dry land production. • High quality dark, green alfalfa with outstanding nutrient value.

Vernal
• Generous leaf to stem ration for nicer palatability and better protein content. • Good insect and disease resistance and winter hardiness (2-3 year). • Named origin: VERnal quality, NEMAtode resistant.

Ameristand 404LH
Patented Genetics - Ideal variety if you do not scount and spray for Potato Leafhoppers (PLH)

  • No. 1 yield in 2005 Iowa State no-spray yield trials - 8.23 tons per acre
  • Very winterhardy (WH = 1.7) for long stand life
  • Superior disease resistance index (DRI) of 30/30
  • Patented genetics deliver high resistance (HR) to fight off the PLH
  • If you plant a nurse crop (oats) and harvest as grain, this should be your first choice.
Ameristand 407TQ
Traffic Tested genetics combined with vitro and NIR testing
  • Very high-yielding elite variety for the grower demanding top tonnage
  • Very winterhardy (WH = 1.7) for long stand life, even in 3, 4, or 5-cut schedules
  • Superior disease resistance index (DRI) of 34/35; resists Race 2 Aphanomyces
  • Selected for superior forage quality through the combined use of in vitro and NIR
  • Fast recovery (FD = 4.4) makes this an ideal varity for intensive management
  • 5.9 tons per acre / 14,817 milk lbs/acre (150 RFQ)
Ameristand 405T RR
Traffic Tested genetics with Roundup Ready® technology
  • Very high-yielding elite variety that performs across a wide range of soil types
  • Very winterhardy (WH = 2.0) for long stand life, even in harsh environments
  • Superior disease resistance index (DRI) of 33/35, resists Race 2 Aphanomyces
  • Roundup Ready trait for easy stand establishment and superior weed control
  • Fast recovery (FD = 4.0) makes this an ideal variety for top managers
  • 7.9 tones per acre / 21,826 milk lbs/acre (145 RFQ)
